Annabelle Comes Home (2019): When loud sound effects are used as a horror tool you can bet that they have run out of ideas.
Life as a House (2002): It will probably appeal to romantics.
Surf Nazis Must Die (1986): I don't find it easy to rate Troma movies – I want them to succeed but they don't always catch you in the right mood. However, they are always worth and deserve a try.
Kid Who Would Be King, The (2019): I wish they would apply a bit of oil to some of these kids to cut down the screeching a bit but it probably won't bother families who should find it entertaining enough.
Fighting With My Family (2019): It goes down hill from a very promising start. When Nick Frost and Lena Headey are on screen it is at its best.
Last Waltz, The (1976): It has a good look to it, and there is a sensible balance between the interviews, The Band performing and the guest artists doing likewise.
Lacombe Lucien (1974): Although it didn't maintain the strength of the first half of its screenplay it still conveyed a very believable human scenario that would be relevant at any time or place.
Heroes of Telemark, The (1965): Once the war resumes after Douglas and Harris's bickering half the running time as passed but there is still plenty of time for an unconvincing plot, some nice scenery, and a cameo from Michael Redgrave.
More Than Honey (2012): A well–structured documentary that with the help of superb photography and an informed narrative looks at honeybee colonies in California, Switzerland, China, and Australia.
Deer Hunter, The (1978): A number of the scenes stand the test of time 40 years on. Those of the steel town, especially early in the film, are the best for authenticity of time, place, & atmosphere. The depiction of the evacuation of Vietnam & the theme tune are also exellent.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
