Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's ChestPirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest (2006)Recommended
3 stars (Good Enough) Davy Jones is really cool, but some of the Will and Elizabeth stuff begins to get dull.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black PearlPirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)Aro Favourite
4 stars (Very Good) Fun and creepy. Barbarossa is the best "pirates" villain, and I look forward to him returning in the fourth.
Batman: The Animated SeriesBatman: The Animated Series (1992-1995)
5 stars (Exceptional) One of the best animated series of all time. Some of the best episodes are "Christmas with the Joker," and "Mad as a Hatter."
Batman: The Dark KnightBatman: The Dark Knight (2008)Recommended
4 stars (Very Good) Like the predecessor, it's generally too realistic to be fun. Christian Bale just gets worst, it's hard not to laugh at his "bat–voice." The Joker is creepy as hell, but I don't know if he's as good as Nicholsen's.
Batman ForeverBatman Forever (1995)
2 stars (Good Try) The visuals are garish and no one wanted to see Jim Carrey in spandex.
Batman BeginsBatman Begins (2005)Recommended
3 stars (Good Enough) Christian Bale isn't that believable as both Batman and Bruce Wayne. The film is too realistic to be enjoyable.
King of Kong, The King of Kong, The (A Fistful of Quarters) (2007)Recommended
4 stars (Very Good) Inspiring documentary about a somewhat obscure area of fandom and sport.
AvatarAvatar (2009)Recommended
1 star (Turkey) Atrocious. It's boring, repetitive, preachy and the 3D isn't really that good compared to Coraline.
AliensAliens (1986)Aro Favourite
3 stars (Good Enough) Trades the horror of the previous installment, turning it into just another action movie. Also, how come the aliens are now so easy to kill?
AlienAlien (1979)Aro Favourite
5 stars (Exceptional) This builds suspense brilliantly. The aesthetic is great, and Ripley is the greatest female character in fiction.
