Shine A Light (2006): A solid concert from the second best band on the planet.
Don't Look Now (1973): The writing is intelligent and so is the shooting location of Venice – how can the canals fail to maintain interest. Some excellent editing also adds value although we could have done without the slow motion shots.
Some Girls Do (1969): It is a sequel that is better than its original with excellent support casting and some good humorous touches. Unfortunately, it goes on a bit too long for its material.; DVD $19.95
Deadlier Than the Male (1966): Although the screenplay and the plot idea are a bit dated there is a good performance from Nigel Green that is worthy of attention.
Let Them Eat Cake (TV Series) (1999): The material is not too bad and the comedy partners are well assisted by a good supporting cast headed by the great Alison Steadman. The wardrobe will also have its admirers.
Catchfire (1990): Aka "Backtrack". The screenplay is ordinary – the romantic segment between Hopper and Foster just doesn't work – but what maintains the interest is the extremely strong support casting.
So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993): Although the screenplay doesn't flow as well as it might it is unquestionably entertaining – on that score I can't see Myers ever being boring. A very good comedy plot idea.
War Of The Colossal Beast (1958): A typical sequel but at just over an hour it doesn't push its luck too much.
Hail Satan? (2019): It is entertaining enough. As with any documentary about religion file under "Comedy".; DVD $29.95
Adventures in Zambezia (Zambezia) (2012): The story nor the characters are very original but the latter should still be good entertainment for family members.
