Sniper, The (Sun cheung sau) (2009): It is about some photogenic snipers.
Wiz, The (1978): It has curiosity value and some good ensemble dancing but overall it is too long.
City of Lost Children (1995): Although the screenplay failed to hold one's interest there were plenty of interesting/over the top characters and the set designs and artwork were excellent.
Executive Decision (1996): A bit overlong but better than average for its type – having the talented David Suchet on board helped.
Three Men and a Baby (1987): It is a bit desperate when you need to use a crying baby as your comedy prop.
Zombieland: Double Tap (2019): As a zombie comedy, it works okay but there are so many zombies around these days that it is hard to be seen as different.
Six Degrees of Separation (1993): The adaptation of a very good story to the screen works very well but the risky casting of Smith may not work with some viewers.
Crackerjack (2000): A competent Aussie comedy but one which has the added benefit of John Clarke who is always worth a *.; DVD $20
Get Well Soon (2014): The material is light and the whole thing is quickly forgettable.
Grass Harp, The (1996): An excellent ensemble does justice to a solid screenplay. Nell Carter does some pretty good scene stealing by sheer force of personality.
