Just Mercy (2019): Whilst the dramatisation concentrates on the McMillian case hopefully it will be a spur for further reading into the achievements of Bryan Stevenson as a social justice activist.
Way of the Gun (2001): Although this screenplay takes it to the laughable extreme it does beg the question of where would the American screenwriter be without the gun(?)
Oh, Woe is Me (Helas Pour Moi) (1993): I watched it.
Suspiria (2018): I suspect it is a film that will stand up to repeat viewing mainly because the good bits are very good (that is Irish) and the other bits will become more appreciated.
Birds of Passage (2018): There were some aspects relating to local customs that were interesting but the bulk of the screenplay – the criminal activity – was routine and wasn't specific to Colombia but could be found in many other countries.; DVD $29.95
Our Man Flint (1966): It has more curiosity value than anything else 50 yrs on. An excellent musical score helps.
Bombshell (2019): Although the screenplay is a bit uneven it at least helps to keep the issue at Fox alive and not buried and forgotten.; DVD ~~$24.95~~ $18.70
Hook (1991): The screenplay needed to lose an hour – one way would have been to give half the characters the hook.
Alice in Wonderland (2010): Great to look at and it has a terrific cast with HB Carter's segments the highlight.
One Hour Photo (2002): It is okay but it helps to be a Williams fan because otherwise, nothing memorable develops.
