Funny Girl (1968)
Barbara tries her energetic best and there are a couple of tuneful tunes but, although there is admirable work from the wardrobe department, the two hours plus lasts a bit longer than that.
Hounds (TV Series) (2012)
Good natured characters and script – it is worth a look.
Coraline (2009)
The animation is stunning in even 2–D and the characters are original and definitely not cloned.
Capharnaum (2018)
Although the antics of the boy weren't convincing the screenplay was well intentioned with regard to the vulnerability of the women & children. There was some excellent location shooting to highlight the poverty.
Big Short, The (2015)
Spending two hours with these characters is asking a bit much.
Billy T Live (1990)
A good balance of comedy and musical entertainment.
World of Suzie Wong, The (1960)
Although the long screenplay is largely forgettable it does contain some great Hong Kong street and harbour scenes.
Coeurs (Private Fears in Public Places) (2006)
There is not enough substance in the screenplay to warrant a two hour running time and the characters are forgettable.
Rules of Attraction, The (2003)
Let us just focus on the good things about this and not dwell on the negatives.
Come to Daddy (2019)
It stands up well to a lot of other modern horror films plus there is some good music on the soundtrack.
