Superman Returns (2006): The flying bits are okay but the rest of the two and half hours don't rise to any great heights.
Spongebob Squarepants Movie, The (2004): Spongebob is distinguishable within the animated family and there is something "old school" about it all.
Burke and Hare (2010): Excellent casting and the period details look to be spot on. If you are allowed to make a comedy about sinister deeds then this succeeds.
Cry-Baby (Cry baby) (1990): Bouncy musical numbers combined with offbeat characters prove a winner.
Cars 2 (2011): Beep beep.
TiMER (2009): An interesting concept but its sands run out before the end.
King, The (2005): I have mixed feelings about this but it deserves to be watched & for people to make up their own minds and to add to its mixed reviews.; DVD $34.95
Richie McCaw: Chasing Great (2016): It has the usual quota of home video footage and quite a bit of rugby action replayed in slow motion (not that you would notice a great deal of difference).
Apron Strings (2008): A competently made family drama enhanced by a good soundtrack.
In the Soup (1992): It is one of those low budgets that embarrass the big budget productions. Buscemi and Cassel are terrific blending into the cheapness and doing great service to the well written screenplay.
