Hop (2011): The mix of animation and live is extremely well done. The bunny and chick steal the show.
Dante's Peak (1997): Although it doesn't rise to any great heights it is a reasonable time filler.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005): There is an understandable drop off in performance when proceedings are left in the hands of the younger cast members. The adult casting is impressive as are the set designs and other art work.
Amelia (2009): Excellent production values and both Amelia and Hilary are great but the screenplay is too easily sidetracked.
Chinese Ghost Story, A (2011): A good first half before the screenplay loses a bit of its structure.
High Note, The (Covers) (2020): Dakota J is not too bad and she makes you feel less guilty spending the time watching it.
$9.99 (2008): I found the screenplay hard to focus on but the stop–motion as an art form deserves to be admired.
Grow Your Own (The Allotment) (2007): These British character actors you feel haven't had to stray too far from their roots. A light bitter but mostly sweet.
Born On the Fourth of July (1989): The "I love my country" bits and the hysterical segments got a bit tiresome but it can be commended for its anti–war theme.
Milky Way, The (1968): Some delightful religious satirical segments – not as hard hitting as Monty Python but perhaps the latter were influenced by and owe a debt to Bunuel (?)
