Burnt Orange Heresy, The (2019)
An ageless Donald Sutherland does some scene–stealing as part of an interesting casting mix that plays a group of characters to whom you really don't care what happens. However the screenplay is intelligent.
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)
This is the one after Halloween 4 although it doesn't really matter what order you see the sequels in.
Hills Have Eyes 2, The (2007)
Watch the 1977 original.
This Town (2020)
I suspect I know what kind of comedy it wants to be – it is a type that is hit and miss with the viewer. On a first viewing, it misses for me but it will find an audience.
Cellular (2004)
Evans is miscast but there is nothing wrong with the casting of the rest of the leads. The screenplay is an entertaining time filler at best.
Advise and Consent (1962)
A solid enough screenplay but the highlight is the strong casting particularly that of the great Charles Laughton in his farewell.
King's Choice, The (2016)
It is well produced and it tells its story in a somber and respectful fashion.
Salt of the Earth (1954)
A simple story that deserves to be seen. Well done ladies.
Dementia 13 (1963)
Because of the Director, it has curiosity value and this helps maintain the interest throughout the uneven screenplay which admittedly does have some worthwhile segments.
Tommyknockers, The (1993)
It has its moments but not enough to last out the running time. The leading male was uninspiring which didn't help.
