Looking for Alibrandi (1999): Very watchable with the first hour the best when there is more interaction between the kids.
Scarlet and the Black, The (1983): A reasonably interesting screenplay but it is unfortunately too long. However, there is compensation in that there is more time to admire the performance of Christopher Plummer.
Midwife, The (Sage femme) (2017): Adding Olivier Gourmet into the mix and there are 3 fine actors who are used to carrying films on their own and are really the main reason for watching this screenplay.; DVD ~~$29.95~~ $22.45
Videodrome (1983): Not all the scenes work but those that do should leave an impact. What can't be denied is its originality and the high standard of its special effects make it memorable.
Blade Runner 2049 (2017): Ridley Scott is one of the producers which would have helped. Very long but visually impressive.
Foxtrot (2017): It didn't make much of an impression on a first viewing.; DVD $29.95
Broken Hearts Gallery, The (2020): There are some fresh faces in the cast and the lead is personable enough but the material is not strong enough for the running time.
Maiden (2018): One of the better yachting films.
Lost Command (1966): Well made with the battle scenes handled professionally.
Clockers (1995): When I first saw this in the 90s I thought it was okay, if overlong, but that it didn't offer anything new. A rewatch has done nothing to change that opinion.
