Edge of Heaven, The (Auf der anderen Seite) (2007): Beautiful cross cultural, sensitive and rewarding film about family dynamics and relationships. Seen it twice. Would view again.
Avatar (2009): Avatar generally gets a pummelling from film buffs (see above user reviews) who get all hot under the collar about it being formulaic etc. This film, albeit long, was a lot of fun and visually seductive.
Milk (2008): Gosh. What can I say. Brilliant.
