Aroview: Slightly premature 80s nostalgia comedy, though the benefit of hindsight makes amends on much of the genuine article (PRETTY IN PINK et al).
This perfectly blow-waved crowd-pleaser finds the right mix of irony and sympathy, with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler well mis-matched, and period fashion and music sure to provoke impassioned debate. Alas, Molly Ringwald does not make a cameo.

3 stars (Good Enough) Occassionally hilarious flashback to the 80's, a wanna-be rock-star falls for a waitress who's about to marry a complete toad. Worth seeing for "Love Stinks" as well as other original gems that sum up that cringeful era of music so perfectly.~GenXGirl
