Aroview: A richly layered French romantic drama starring Guillaume Canet (playing a famous actor much like himself) and Alba Rohrwacher as former lovers who meet again after 15 years, finding a spark that has long since faded from their respective marriages.

That the rhythm is slow yet never meandering is thanks to the masterful direction of Stéphane Brizé, who finds poetry and humour in many tiny moments, aided by a splendid soundtrack. Set in the wintery 'off-season' in coastal Brittany, it provides an escapist postcard pleasure for sure, but not a guilty one.
