A historical drama set in the 1860's and 1870's, the plot explores the experiences of Native Americans throughout the expansion of the United States. Characters include a mixed-race Sioux doctor, a Sioux chief who vehemently opposes the U.S. government policies that would strip Native Americans of their identity, a U.S. senator and government policy maker and historical figure Red Cloud, who was one of the most important leaders of the Oglala Lakota sub tribe during this time.
