Aroview: Uma Thurman is miscast (to amusing effect) as a frumpy, frazzled mommy-of-two juggling the middle-class plight of career aspiration vs. the parental responsibility.

The premise, though derivative, offers plenty of opportunities for high farce, yet is only ever delivered in spurts as Thurman's comic timing and the film's lackluster script often falls flat.
