Fat Girls

Aroview: Brazenly off-beat comedy with shades of NAPOLEON DYNAMITE centres on two outcasts trying to survive their squaresville Texan high school days in one piece.

Slapdash aesthetic and banal stereotyping aside, this (somewhat misleadingly titled) debut for 20-year-old writer-director-star Ash Christian demonstrates an endearing affection for its misfit characters and delivers its fair share of laughs.
