Tom Goes to the Mayor (TV Series)

Aroview: One of Adult Swim's more unclassifiable animations, this surreal comedy of small town banter revolves around a diligent citizen of Jefferson, Tom Peters, who pitches a new idea to the mayor every episode.

Naturally, Tom's ideas are beyond absurdist, and provide a launch pad for the show's skewered sense of humour. Guest stars attracted include Jack Black and Jeff Goldblum, while its lo-fi animation style makes for a considerable point of difference.
