Aroview: Sprawling, overarching fantasy series posits the transformation of a group of ordinary Americans (and one dorky Japanese man) into destined superheroes, each with their own cache of special powers and attributes: flying, self-healing, time-shifting, telepathy etc.

More than a X-MEN knockoff, this gains considerably momentum in building comic book tropes, clandestine forces, unpredictable storylines, and grand sci-fi mythology into an imposing apocalyptic timeline that requires close attention, yet offers sizeable rewards in its blockbuster-aspiring sweep.
