Aroview: The best, and dare we say it, freshest, of the Black-American street fables to emerge in recent years, a fascinating story evolves from a young innocent's involvement with gangs of drug traffickers. Subtlety, however, prevails in both the acting and direction, with latest rap hits eschewed in favour of a superb acoustic score by Stewart Copeland. Co-stars include Samuel Jackson.

3 stars (Good Enough) The performances, script and musical score are spot on - young Sean Nelson is in every scene and holds up extremely well.I was relieved to see that no animals were harmed during the film - there is some realistic action involving animals.~tubbs
