Touch of Pink

Aroview: A gay Indo-Canadian man (Mistry) living happily in London with his boyfriend faces a crisis when his straight-laced Muslim mother flies over for an unexpected visit.

Taking advice from his imaginary friend - the spirit of Cary Grant (MacLachlan) - he concocts a flimsy plan to appear to be enaged to be married, hetero-style. Dir. by one of the makers of the TV Series "This Life", this adds a few passing notes to the usual medley of farce and comic confusion, but can't quite fulfil its best ideas.
