Carnivale - Season 2 (TV Series)

Aroview: Further episodes from this unusual TV series which continues a running duel between two quasi-supernatural figures (Stahl and Brown) in the Oklahoma dustbowl during the depths of the 1930s Depression.

Stahl has since assimilated into carnival life and come to terms with his 'powers'. With the help of other 'carnies', he'll plot to take down Brown's demonic clergyman, who has fashioned himself as the marauding leader of a religious cult with thousands of worshippers. As the second and final season of the series – abruptly cancelled due to mounting production costs, among other things – certain plot strains are left hanging, though this is very much resolved from a climactic point of view, and offers ample closure for those who've invested in the story from the beginning.
