Aroview: Fairly substandard drama with a good premise set in the Philippines in 1941, where a column of Americans retreats before the advancing Japanese. Among them is a lonely soldier (Ely) who wishes to make love to a woman "once before I die", and the available Andress is torn between compassion and duty.
