Cold Creek Manor

Aroview: A middling twist on the city-folks-go-country thriller, with Quaid, Stone and family moving into a creaky old mansion with a bad reputation.

Troubling events start to accumulate when they foolishly hire the previous owner, a sociopathic ex-con (Dorff), to help renovate the property. Other lapses in common sense soon leave credibility behind, though the familiar cliches certainly get a good rattle through.
