It Came from Outer Space

USA 1953, 77 minutes, B/W
Dir. Jack Arnold
Rating: [PG]
Genres: Science Fiction / Invaders

Aroview: A spaceship crash lands in the Arizona desert (where else?), causing friction between mild-mannered scientist Richard Carlson and the more gung-ho authorities. That the ET's turn out to be benevolent and misunderstood isn't a big surprise, but this is one of the better realisations of the theme, based on a Ray Bradbury story. Originally in 3D.
