Third Part of the Night

Aroview: A World War II film told as a feverish abstract nightmare. Set in Nazi-occupied Poland, the story follows a young man who joins the resistance after his family are killed, and from there the narrative takes a number of surreal turns. As with Zulawski's later film Possession, the camera is in near-constant motion. Unique and harrowing.
