“A hysterically rude, visually stunning cinematic theme park ”~Tim Robey, The Telegraph
Aroview: An impoverished mother and her 6-year-old daughter are the focus of this vibrant offering from acclaimed indie director Sean Baker (TANGERINE). The film's title is derived from an early name for Walt Disney World, which is ironically located right next the Orlando motel that the pair live in. Shot by the cinematographer of SILENT LIGHT, it's breath taking to look at and wonderfully captures a child's unique and joyous point of view.

5 stars (Exceptional) My favorite American film of 2017. Wrought with a docu-realism that's tender but unsentimental, funny but never flippant, and politically conscious without preaching. A bittersweet and beautifully acted ode to life below the poverty-line. ~fairbrother
3 stars (Good Enough) The children, Moonee, Scooty & Jancey are quite marvelous & despite being the offspring of 'white trash' living on the margin, their escapades and acting quite capture the heart. Many adults show complex kindnesses, too. ~Sandy
2 stars (Good Try) It is about screeching kids. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) Favourite film of the last year. So refreshing to see children portrayed on screen as children. With realism, depth and sensitivity. Very empowering. ~Catapillar
