Aroview: Typically black humoured and viciously insightful comedy from dir. Todd Solondz, a spin-off from his indie classic WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE, which also features the character Dawn Wiener. Following an actual wiener-dog through a series of partially connected comic vignettes, this provides everything we've come to expect from the director; a profoundly morose meditation on the futility of the human condition, here expressed via the fate of the titular dachshund as he is shuffled from owner to owner.
