5 stars (Exceptional) Sexually repressed Ann is married to John, who's having an affair with Ann's sister Cynthia. When John's old friend Graham (with an unusual hobby) shows up, the film becomes a fascinating character study. Clever dialogue and very intriguing. ~GenXGirl

5 stars (Exceptional) A witty diamond of a script, superbly acted, and realised with a very cool sense of style - the coy restraint of which is perhaps, in retrospect, the sexiest thing about the film. Sundance would never be the same again afterwards. ~fairbrother
