Aroview: Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick odd-couple it as neighbours competing over their annual display of Christmas lights in this silly, seasonal cinematic stocking-filler.

Amiable comedy, which wraps Christmas cheer with one-upmanship and nasty neighbourliness. Hardly the film to get critics raving, but the skewering of Christmas traditions and commercialism by these merry gentlemen will particularly appeal to the cynics.
