Aroview: Utterly peculiar crime series follows two disenchanted botanists – Rosemary, a sacked horticulture lecturer, and Laura, a police officer separated from her philandering husband – as they divide their time between solving murders and tending to their gardens.
Despite its absurd premise, this is British through and through, indulging shamelessly in the two rather English pastimes of gardening and mystery sleuthing, all the while enlivening proceedings with the dryly humorous, if genteel relationship between its two greenfingered leads.
