Wild, The

Aroview: Lively if ultimately average Disney animation about a young zoo-born lion who is accidentally shipped back to Africa, prompting to his blustering father (Sutherland) to try and rescue him, with the help of a crateload of other zoo-critters, and confront his parenting issues in the process.

Hardly veering from the MADAGASCAR formula, this at least boasts some highly-detailed animation and the considerable talents of the voice cast. Younger children will lap it up, but this will be rather too 'tame' for most parents to join them.
