Aroview: Originally a pilot, Spike Lee’s little-known excursion into the realm of Cable TV is an ethnically diverse gang drama converging black, white, Latino and Asian factions into a volatile melting pot of turf wars, drive-by shootings, and never-ending cycles of violence.

While compelling and multifaceted in scope, this falls agonizingly short as a standalone film, with key narrative threads left unresolved in lieu of a planned TV series that never eventuated.
