Chicken Little

Aroview: Beautifully animated tale of an easily-alarmed, nerdish young chicken who one day causes a coop-wide panic that the sky is falling, and later must redeem himself by growing up, even while personal problems accumulate and genuinely threatening catastrophes loom.

Lacking the bonafide zing of Disney's Pixar animations (eg. MONSTERS INC.), this manages to keep abreast enough of pop-culture references and cutely ironic dialogue, to please most audiences, but is clearly not quite of the stature of recent Hollywood hatchings. Voices by Zach Braff, Garry Marshall, Steve Zahn, Joan Cusack, Dan Molina and Patrick Stewart.
