Wedding Crashers
Aroview: Two friends (Wilson and Vaughn) are connected by their hobby of 'crashing' weddings during the summer nuptial season, purporting to be invited, in pursuit of no-strings sex adventures with female guests who will supposedly have their guard down.
Although their deceptions are well-oiled and almost ritualised (with special rules and codes), trouble arrives in the form of the genuine infatuation of Wilson for the daughter of a powerful politician. Seguing into a comedy of extended family eccentrics and the difficulty of retreating from lies to truth, this has a full tank of raunchy comic fuel, despite the overly familiar buddy-buddy casting (where was Ben Stiller, one wonders?)

4 stars (Very Good) A comedy that could have been brilliant, given the first half-hour, and the great chemistry between Owen and Vaughn. Unfortunately, takes a turn for the standard rom-com drama, but remains a fun ride overall. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) The one with the nose is as irritating as usual and the level of comedy is pretty mediocre. ~Tubbs
