Jack Brown Genius

New Zealand 1994, 91 minutes
Dir. Tony Hiles
Rating: [PG]
Genres: Comedy / Fantasy

Topics: Timewarp.

Aroview: A forgotten turkey from Peter Jackson’s ‘Wingnut Films’, this goofily offbeam tale concerns a modern-day inventor of contraptions, possessed by the spirit of a 10th century monk who died trying to fly.

Perhaps enjoyable, but the mixed level of special f/x and only sporadically funny gags make it hard, despite the efforts of Tim Balme (BRAINDEAD) and the rest of the cast.
