Aroview: Big city lawyer Jeff Daniels and his actor buddy Michael Ritchie (from TV's Seinfeld) wind up having to swap identities to defend a case against a guilty fraudster in Nowheresville, Nevada. Fairly typical comedy 'package' is a straight hybrid of DUMB AND DUMBER and the director's own MY COUSIN VINNY, with funny moments offsetting some inevitable mawkishness. Charlize Theron adds love-interest panache.
