“Horror fans in search of a smarter-than-average thriller that will make their hearts race and their viscera quiver should not miss this one.”~The Arts Fuse
Aroview: Promising Australian director Sean Byrne follows up his first horror movie THE LOVED ONES with this Texas-set story of a father who suffers from satanic visions.
Both witty and heartfelt, it presents a refreshingly non-stereotyped portrayal of masculinity and fatherhood, subverting horror tropes within a strong genre movie, with an enjoyable nod to classic cult satanic films.

4 stars (Very Good) Very scary & convincing. Clever, subtle, well-made & well-acted. Unfocused tension from the first moment. I especially liked the Devil Incarnate as an Art Dealer & his side-kick. Not recommended for children or teenagers. Artists, yes!~Sandy
