Aroview: A thought-provoking prequel to the PLANET OF THE APES legacy, set during the present day where a genetically-enhanced chimpanzee uses its increased intellect to rise above its human oppressors.

Unlike the abortive Tim Burton "re-imagining" of a decade prior, the clean slate approach to the material delivers an efficient and crisply entertaining thriller of the 'science slip' variety, though it was never going to approach the impact of the 1968 original - one of the all-time sci-fi greats.
