Ten, The

Aroview: Off-the-wall and often outrageous star-studded comedy from the dir. of the cult classic WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER that devises a twisted sketch out of each of the Ten Commandments.

Though weakened by drawn-out interludes featuring Paul Rudd who directly addresses the camera, each story has a brilliant spark of inspiration that more often than not fleshes out as a funny and satisfying short story. Prudes and fundamentalist Christians should beware that this isn't afraid to punch below the belt, but for the rest of us, the guilty pleasures abound, not only in viewing but in the post-mortem discussion: "Ha! What about the one when they..."
