Ferryman, The

Homegrown high-seas supernatural horror following a group of charter cruise passengers en route from New Zealand to Fiji who pick up a weirdo shipwrecked sailor and, with him, an evil, ancient, bloodthirsty curse straight out of Greek mythology.

Music video talent Chris Graham, who graduated to features with SIONE’S WEDDING, here feels adrift as his cast with little life support from the script, even if he proves an able exponent of the genre’s grislier qualities. Ultimately a doomed enterprise, with the acting heft of Kerry Fox going largely unused.
