Aroview: Nicely-produced TV version of the Gaston Leroux classic, that while straying far from the source, puts perhaps the darkest twist on the story yet. Schell gives it his histrionic best as the conductor of the Budapest opera house, tormented by the loss of his wife and driven into madness.
