Aroview: Reserve quality odd-couple comedy-drama from the consistent talent behind ELECTION and ABOUT SCHMIDT, about two middle-aged friends on a Californian wine trail.
Paul Giamatti is priceless as the struggling writer and passionate wine enthusiast still in love with his ex-wife, with Haden Church his perfect foil as a philandering bridegroom-in-waiting who just wants to get laid. Full of scrupulous detail about wine, this speaks volumes about male obsession and bonding, and is destined to age very well, alongside classics of male romantic neurosis like MANHATTAN.

4 stars (Very Good) Miles, a failed writer, and his soon-to-be married friend, a failed actor, hit the road to enjoy a male-bonding trip of wine-tasting - only to end up drowning in wine, women and mayhem. Hilarious, real laugh out loud moments. ~GenXGirl
4 stars (Very Good) This is a guaranteed chick-flick for guys, I'm a guy - works as super funny on all levels. The guy playing the womanizer is soo good. The question is: Will Miles get laid? Leave it to you to find out. .. I cried at the end.. True. ~DangerMouse
2 stars (Good Try) As the screenplay is about two adult children killing time its very hard to get interested in characters who have nothing worthwhile to do. ~Tubbs
