Aroview: Typically stunning Ray Harryhausen effects are the main drawcard of this interesting, if minor sci-fi bauble adapted from H.G. Wells' speculative novel. Certainly packs a great opening and quaintly surreal style throughout, but the coy English dialogue works to the films' detriment.

4 stars (Very Good) Timeless special effects. Lionel Jeffries is the icing on the cake. Good to see Britain was first to the moon. ~Tubbs
