Aroview: A young Gabrielle Anwar plays an orphaned 'wild heart' in the Depression era who finds her calling in Doc Carver's travelling stunt show.
Her ultimate heart's desire is to become a 'diving girl', riding a horse over a forty-foot drop into a pool of water - though tragedy intrudes. Quality Disney movie is well worth a look for animal-loving adolescents.

2 stars (Good Try) Gabrielle is fine and cements the film with old hand Robertson adding interest. The romantic interest slows the film and we could have done with it - he is a bit of a drip anyway. The production values were very good and the plot okay. ~Tubbs
