Aroview: One of the more successful Italian gore-films, this strange blend of NYC policier, DAWN OF THE DEAD and ISLAND OF LOST SOULS is entertaining in its own mad way. As usual, the drippingly bloody effects are a highlight.

3 stars (Good Enough) Interesting interview with Roy Frumkes on bonus features who tells how this is a blend of more than one film. AKA Dr Butcher MD & other titles. Acting and action scenes are amateurish but who cares - the make up and horror are classy. ~Tubbs
