Aroview: Another infectious, deceptively smart comedy from the Farrelly Brothers, who here apply their endearing brand of political incorrectness to the subject of “conjoined twins”.
In a surprisingly deft piece of casting, Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear play it straight (a feat in itself) as the small-town brothers - joined at the hip – whose separate career ambitions take them to Hollywood. More than just a fish-out-of-water comedy, the script exhausts their predicament for all its worth, including every double entendre in the book, and highlighted by a brilliant running gag that inventively hides the truth from a sweet romantic interest.
