One Hundred Steps, The

Aroview: Expansive, fact-based drama set around a young man's fight against local mafiosos in the small Sicilian village of Cinisi in the 1970s.

Despite his family's deep connections to the Mafia, he begins a career as a passionately idealistic political activist, making subversive radio broadcasts and eventually running for office. The events in this film led to a famous murder-case, which was only closed in 2002.
