Aroview: Adapted from the book by Dava Sobel, this tells the intriguing story surrounding the 18th century search for an accurate way to calculate longitude, a discovery which would influence the course of history. Centred on the quest by John Harrison (Gambon) to construct an accurate timepiece (and satisfy the bureaucrats) and a parallel 20th century story where restorer Jeremy Irons becomes obsessed with chronometers.
