Aroview: A spaced-up animated version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s TREASURE ISLAND, with young Jim shipping aboard a galactic galleon with dangerous shipmates and dark secrets.
Visually this is one of Disney’s best of late, with a romantic vein of improbable ‘sailing’ spaceships and general swashbuckling, but overly cute humour and characters mar the effect a little.
