One, The

Aroview: Ludicrous sci-fi action vehicle for Jet Li - immensely disappointing from the team behind FINAL DESTINATION. The acting is only just more believable than the plot – some nonsense about there being 25 parallel universes and a respective number of incarnations of each person, that in the case of Jet Li is whittled down to just two – good Jet Li and bad Jet Li. Apparently, the future of the universe is at stake if Jet kills himself and we are left with just the “One”! A few mildly suspenseful scenes aside, this plays like a Charles Band (ie. $2) version of Spielberg’s MINORITY REPORT.
